In order to publish a book and stay protected, your work needs to be copyrighted and ideally you want it to be copyrighted before you send it to anyone. Whether you send a synopsis or full manuscript, you want to ensure you're fully protected in the eyes of the law should a legal issue arise.
The Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works means that you no longer have to purchase a copyright in every country within the convention.
Storm Rhino Publishing does not offer legal advice regarding copyright. We advise you seek guidance as appropriate. While we could purchase copyrights for your work, we would have to charge you accordingly and the rights would be held entirely by us which is why we do not offer a copyright service at this time.
If you have any other queries regarding copyright issues, contact us and we will be happy to try and help answer your questions.
